On March 15, 2024, we celebrated the graduation ceremony of FBL-Afghanistan Vocational Training, a significant milestone marking the successful completion of an intensive training program by 195 dedicated students. The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including the National Council President, the Vice President, the Vice President of the Central Region Council, Senior Alwaiz, board chairmen, members of the National Council, and representatives from AKDN, AKF, AKHS, AKES, FMFB, and UCA. Additionally, we welcomed the Case Review Committee (CRC) members from the National Council's Poverty Elimination, along with proud parents and friends, all of whom contributed to the uplifting spirit of the occasion.
The graduation ceremony commenced with an inspiring address from the Director of FBL – Afghanistan, who highlighted the vital role of income-generating skills in alleviating poverty among Afghans. Following this, the President of the National Council delivered a thoughtful speech, quoting Mawlana Shah Karim's insights on the significance of education and skill development. He commended the efforts of FBL and various other organizations in their commitment to enhancing the capacities of the Afghan people. Members from AKDN and the National Council proudly distributed certificates to the beneficiaries, celebrating their hard work and dedication.
